The club has announced that Canadian goalkeeper, Sabrina D’Angelo will be leaving at the end of the 2023/24 season.

She joined Arsenal in 2023, from Swedish side Vittsjö GIK where she had been since 2018.

Her debut for the Gunners came in the quarter finals of the Women’s FA Cup against Aston Villa, where she kept a clean sheet in their 3-0 victory.

She has won two Continental Tyres Cup trophies and has made 14 appearances for the side.

This includes an appearance in a North London derby in the WFA Cup run where a 3-3 draw led to penalties.

Her iconic save of Jessica Naz’s opening spot kick led to Arsenal winning 4-3 on penalties.

Earlier this year she represented Canada at the CONCACAF W Gold Cup while part of the club, just losing out on a place in the final after the US Women’s National Team beat them on penalties.

According to Emma Sanders, it is possible D’Angelo may be looking to follow in former Arsenal player’s footsteps by making the move to Aston Villa.
