Arsenal Women have announced that the Emirates Stadium will become their main home next season, with the team playing 11 matches there in 2024/25.
Arsenal Women are set to play eight Women’s Super League fixtures in N5 along with three UEFA Women’s Champions League matches should they qualify for the group stages.
Should the team progress past the group stages in the UWCL, all home legs in the subsequent knock-out rounds will also be played in the Emirates.
Having signed a renewed contract earlier this season with the women’s current home ground, all other games in the 2024/25 season (such as the FA Cup and the Continental Cup) will still be played at Meadow Park in Borehamwood.
This exciting announcement follows two sell-outs and three WSL attendance records at the Emirates in the 2023/24 season, and an average attendance of 32,618 across all games in both venues.
Vinai Venkatesham, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We’re looking forward to giving more supporters the chance to watch our women’s team play.
”This is part of a collective drive across the club to take the women’s game forward and support sustainable growth of the game so it can thrive in the long term.”
