Chelsea goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger departs the Women’s Super League, as she signs a contract with NWSL team, Gotham FC.

The 33-year-old has signed a one-year contract, with the offer to extend her stay for an additional year, for an undisclosed fee.

The German international leaves the Women’s Super League having kept 60 clean sheets in 114 appearances for Chelsea FC.

She joined Chelsea from Birmingham City in the 2018/2019 January transfer window, and has since experienced a trophy-filled career with Chelsea.

In the five years she was with the Blues, Berger has achieved four Women’s Super League titles, three FA Cups, two League Cups, as well as participating in the Women’s Champions League.
