At the end of the season, Kaylan Marckese has announced that she will be leaving the North London club.

She joined the club in 2022 from Danish side HB Køge, where she was a regular in the starting line-up in their UEFA Champions League matches.

When she signed her contract with Arsenal in the summer transfer window, Head of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley said: “She has built up strong experience in European football over the last few years and will bring added quality and competition to our squad.”

In October of 2022, Marckese made her Arsenal debut during their Champions League game against FC Zurich, in which they won 3-1.

While she only made two appearances in her time at Arsenal, Marckese was announced as the PFA ‘s Community Champion 2022/23 for her work with Arsenal in the Community.

She also made five appearances for Bristol City in her spell on loan with them during the 2022/23 season before getting injured.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper is yet to announce where she will continue her club career.
